For someone special.......

This blog is dedicated to my friend who is leaving abroad today to do her Ph.D

I remember our first encounter. We met in one corner of NBRC. Then, we were put up together in one room. Both of us were so reserved that it took us atleast two weeks to get along well. We sat together and talked about the rules of our room. That was the first time I was impressed with you, because you were someone of my own frequency. Small misunderstandings, little fights.., we did have...without which any relationship would be incomplete.

We never picked faults of each other. Whenever there was a misunderstanding, we sat and talked with each other and sorted it out. Whenever I was ill (which I often was), you served me like my mother. You never interfered in any of my matters. We lived together as though we were at home.

You always understood my situations. Whenever I was in an embarassing situation, you rescued me by just getting away from the situation. You never questioned me as to why was I silent or biased....Hey, you thought, I did not notice your such gestures....:-) . I did.

You are one of the very few amazing persons I have ever met.

Bon voyage dear friend. I wish that this milestone of your life contribute the most to your success and prosperity.

The Pandavas teach........

The 5 pandavas....they all had special qualities. The eldest of Pandavas, Yudhishtra, was an expert in using spears for battle. Not to mention, he was well versed in all fields including science-religion-administration. Bheema was known for his strength. Arjuna was the master archer. Nakula had the expertise in using swords in the war. So too was Sahadeva, with an added knowledge of astrology.

Pandavas were princes, they spent most of their lives under the luxurious roofs of palaces.
Despite their right to their wealth, proficiency and prowess, they had to undergo the tough 13 year Vanvaas. They did, though they were all powerful. They waited with patience and faith for an opportunity.

Beyond all this, throughout their tough period, their sakha was there with them...KRISHNA, guiding them throughout.

Patience and silence with faith seems to be a great solution during tough times!

Is there anything that has not changed?

In the realm of existence, everything is relative. This term relative has come into existence only because of change, the only changeless thing. Something which gives happiness today, gives sadness tomorrow. Someone who seems good for me is bad for someone else. Something which I thought was unreal becomes real with time. Some task which was interesting for me earlier is boring now. Well, I can keep on adding to the list....

Kinds of problems have changed for me. The way friends approach me has changed with time. The way I express my views to people around has changed. The art of my dealing with people has changed. The way I let myself out has changed. The way I perceive things around has changed. Priorities have changed. Dislikes have changed.

Is there anything that has not changed?

Medu pallam edhu vandha podhilum...andha karam ondru mattum thunai vandhadhu! Ethanai kadhavu moodinaalum, aval kadhavu thirandhe irundhadhu. Idayurugalaukku Kodi Kodi nandri. Aval kadhavu thirandhe irupadhu, indha kanukku therindhadhu kooda idaiyurugalal dhane...

HER love for me has not changed! Always SHE is holding me! SHE never lets me down!

Very late in my life.....yeah I am already 26 now, I have realized that I should do something else other than my work. I am really not sure how long this realization will also come along. But penning down my thoughts out here will definitely be a stressbuster ....apart from soothing music which now is my standalone comforter whenever there is anxiety, stress.

Everything has a beginning. So start today...and continue .....
